The subcontractor primes call when the schedule won't move.
FedM8 is a veteran-led small business that works as a subcontractor and teaming partner to prime contractors — delivering construction & facility services, information technology, software development, uniform & UV printing, and event support on federal, state, and local work.
Your subcontracting plan has a number on it. We help you hit it.
If your contract carries FAR 52.219-9, you negotiated small business subcontracting goals — and you are measured against them.
The SDVOSB goal went up
The government-wide goal for awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses rose from 3% to 5%, covering subcontracting as well as prime awards. Most primes are now looking for qualified SDVOSB partners in more lanes than they were two years ago.
Missing it is expensive
Failure to make good faith efforts toward a subcontracting plan can expose a prime to liquidated damages, and a weak socioeconomic record follows you into past performance on the next competition.
Where we stand today, plainly
Our SBA VetCert application is in process. Until it is approved, work placed with us will not count toward your SDVOSB goal — and we will not tell you otherwise. Teaming with us now means the relationship, the pricing and the past performance are already in place on the day it does.
Easy to put on paper
Active SAM.gov registration with UEI on file, straightforward teaming agreements and NDAs, and a single point of accountability. We are set up to be documented, not explained.

How we work with primes.
An unfamiliar subcontractor is a risk. Here is how we keep delivery and documentation simple.
Veteran leadership, mission discipline
Founded and led by a service-disabled veteran. We run projects the way missions are run: clear chain of responsibility, defined success criteria, and no surprises at delivery.
We won't create flow-down problems
Active SAM registration, FAR-aligned processes, and clean documentation built in from the start — so the clauses you flow down to us come back satisfied, on time, without chasing. We tell you exactly where every credential stands, including the ones still in process.
Capacity you can put on a schedule
Our team and vetted partners bring hands-on experience across the trades, IT, print production, and event operations — sized to absorb task orders and surge work without renegotiating your baseline.
You deal with a decision-maker
Quotes in days, not weeks; one accountable contact from kickoff to closeout; and an early heads-up when something needs to change — not a surprise at the milestone review.
Know exactly who you're working with.
Government buyers research the people behind a company. Here we are.
Joseph "Joey" Nguyen
Service-disabled veteran leading FedM8's strategy, day-to-day operations, and every contract commitment the company makes. Directly accountable for delivery on every engagement.
Darren Cummings
Co-founder leading business development and partner relationships, and supporting delivery across the company's mission areas.
The details your contracting office needs.

A note on our certifications
FedM8 is majority-owned and controlled by a service-disabled veteran. Our SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) application is in process; we will compete for SDVOSB set-asides only once certification is approved, and this page will be updated the day it is.
We publish credential status transparently because that's how we intend to run every contract.
