A veteran-owned company that teams on federal work.
Joseph B. Nguyen and Darren Cummings stood up FedM8 after the paperwork (SAM.gov, veteran certification, forty tabs of notices) took longer than the work itself. We work as a subcontractor and teaming partner. The workspace at ai.fedm8.com is the desk we wished we had on day one.
Your subcontracting plan has a number on it. We help you hit it.
If your contract carries FAR 52.219-9, you negotiated small-business subcontracting goals: and you are measured against them. The government-wide goal for awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses is 5%, covering subcontracting as well as prime awards.
SBA-certified SDVOSB
Work placed with us can count toward an SDVOSB subcontracting goal. Active SAM.gov registration, UEI on file, straightforward teaming agreements and NDAs, and one accountable contact.
Easy to put on paper
We are set up to be documented, not explained. Quotes in days, not weeks. One contact from kickoff to closeout.
Five mission areas
Construction and facility services, information technology, software, uniform and UV printing, and event support: sized to take task orders and surge work off a prime’s plate.
Small enough to answer the phone
You will always reach a decision-maker. An early call when something needs to change: not a surprise at the milestone review.
One accountable partner. Five mission areas.
We deliver through an experienced in-house team and vetted partners.

Know exactly who you are working with.
Government buyers research the people behind a company. Here we are.
Joseph B. Nguyen
Service-disabled veteran who has worked federal contracting since 1999 from all three sides of the table: six years active duty Army, seven years as a subject-matter-expert contractor, and federal civilian service with the Department of the Army and DoD since 2012. His software work goes back further: in 1996 he developed ergonomic software for International Ergonomics Experts, and in 2003 he built the VIP Event List web app for Dream Night Club. His federal background includes contract monitoring and evaluation, full datacenter deployments, and software development across agency environments. He holds a B.S. in Computer Networking from Strayer University and an M.B.A. and M.S. in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He leads FedM8's strategy, operations, and every delivery commitment.
Darren Cummings
Co-founder leading business development and partner relationships. He started as an Account Executive at Telemundo (NBC), then built and owned hospitality technology companies, including AllView Networks, which monetized WiFi login and landing pages for more than 2,800 hotels. He went on to lead eStreamTV, delivering live IPTV and programmatic advertising to multi-dwelling properties, hotels, senior living, hospitals, and student housing, and forging partnerships that turned equipment upgrades into a built-in revenue platform. Most recently at F.H. Furr (Apex Service Partners) he sold over $9 million in HVAC equipment and helped drive more than $21 million in company valuation growth in under three years. He holds a Communications degree from the University of Delaware and brings that same partnership discipline and client-first execution to FedM8's growth.
