You learned discipline and how to lead in uniform. FedM8 helps you put both to work in a business that wins federal contracts: SAM.gov, VetCert, the right bids, and the right partners. For VA benefits, we point you to the official VA pages and accredited help.
When Darren and I stood up FedM8, we figured the hard part would be delivering. We were wrong. The hard part was getting in the door: SAM.gov registration, the veteran certification maze, forty tabs of notices written in a language nobody speaks at home.
I've spent thirty years in the federal space: service member, contractor, civilian. Darren has built businesses. And getting this company registered still felt like an unpaid second job. The certification road is measured in months and acronyms. If it's this hard for us, it's this hard for every veteran trying to turn a DD-214 into a payroll.
We couldn't find a guide we trusted. So we built one.
You file SAM and VetCert with the government. FedM8 shows the order. The workspace at fedm8.com is the desk we wished we had on day one.
What We Do
Government Contractor Certification
Navigating federal setup shouldn't feel harder than serving. We walk veteran-owned businesses step-by-step through SAM.gov registration, SBA VetCert (VOSB / SDVOSB), and mandatory prerequisites so your shop is registered, visible, and ready to take on government work.
Getting certified is only step one; winning is the goal. FedM8 helps you cut through federal noise, translate military specialties (MOS) into commercial codes (NAICS), pinpoint high-fit opportunities, evaluate past winner data, and structure compliant, competitive proposals that win awards.
You earned your service-connected benefits, but the process can be overwhelming. We break down the bureaucracy into step-by-step guidance and point you to the official VA links and accredited help.
FedM8 does not prepare or decide VA claims. VA-accredited Veterans Service Organization representatives may provide free claim help; confirm accreditation in VA's official search.
No veteran operates in isolation. FedM8 provides a dedicated community platform where veterans can ask tough questions, find reliable teaming partners, seek guidance, and get authentic peer support for anything they need, in business or in life.

For prime contractors
If your contract carries FAR 52.219-9, you negotiated small-business subcontracting goals, and you are measured against them. The government-wide goal for awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses is 5%, covering subcontracting as well as prime awards.
SDVOSB certification is in process with SBA VetCert. Do not count work placed with us toward an SDVOSB subcontracting goal until SBA grants the certification. Active SAM.gov registration, UEI on file, straightforward teaming agreements and NDAs, and one accountable contact.
We work as a subcontractor and teaming partner on construction and facility services, information technology, software, uniform and UV printing, and event support.
